Amanda Fu-Kalilikane is a licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist. She received her Masters degree in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine from Bastyr University and her massage training from Bellevue Massage School. She also has a Bachelors of Science degree in Neuroscience from Washington State University. Drawing on her training in neuroscience and as a nursing assistant, Amanda is grounded in Western science while applying Eastern wisdom to create an integrative approach that allows her to provide her patients with an individualized form of treatment. Amanda occasionally incorporates massage into her acupuncture visits but is only available for acupuncture visits.
Amanda’s clinical approach is focused on treating the root of disease. She achieves this through conducting a thorough medical history and utilizing Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic techniques and tools, as well as her training in neuroscience and nursing. She works with her patients to establish a more healthy lifestyle through a balance of education, motivation, herbal medicine and hands-on treatment in the form of acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na, and therapeutic massage. Amanda enjoys working with all patients, including those who look to ease anxiety, gastrointestinal issues and musculoskeletal pain.
