Acupuncture Northwest & Associates is proud to welcome Emily Klein to the Seattle office. Emily has been practicing for over 5 years and brings with her that experience. Emily is also currently studying for the fertility acupuncturist national board exam, ABORM. She is also a certified pain specialist. We are so glad to have Emily join the ANW team!
For the past six years, she has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine in many different environments. She has shared clinic space with physical therapists, treated employees on-site at a fast pace technology company, and started her own practice from scratch in Spain. Moreover, in order to advance her skills, in her free time she has been a student under several senior practitioners.
Emily Klein, L.Ac., is a licensed practitioner of East Asian Medicine in the states of Washington and California and is board certified by the NCCAOM in acupuncture. She received her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University, Santa Cruz, and her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from Central Washington University.
Since becoming board certified in 2015, Emily has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine in many different environments. She has shared clinic space with physical therapists, treated employees on-site at a fast pace technology company in San Francisco, and worked in Barcelona, Spain treating patients in both English and Spanish.
While she treats a range of conditions, Emily brings with her a lot of experience in sports medicine and pain management. She went through extensive training to become a sports medicine specialist at Five Branches University. Currently, Emily is branching out into Women’s health and is studying for the fertility acupuncturist national board exam, ABORM. She has taken classes from Jane Lyttleton, an internationally known fertility acupuncture specialist, and is training in-house here at Acupuncture Northwest & Associates.
With her training in traditional Chinese medicine and Western science, Emily offers a holistic approach combining traditional techniques with modern research. Utilizing Chinese herbalism, electro-acupuncture, cupping, and tui na massage, her treatment style is gentle and effective.
