I love being an Acupuncturist because every day I get to go to work and offer my patients a treatment modality that is safe and effective.  I enjoy combining my training in nutrition science and traditional Chinese medicine to bring patients back into balance and offer them a greater sense of well-being.

FERTILITY PATIENTS PLEASE NOTE: We want to let you know that Emily is currently pregnant. We know this can be triggering and want to give you the opportunity to be forewarned and/or to see another provider if you would like.

Emily is a fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. She is specialized in treating fertility as well as pregnancy.  She has taken classes from Jane Lyttleton, an internationally known fertility acupuncture specialist, as well as extensively mentored under Stephanie Gianarelli, clinic director at Acupuncture Northwest & Associates.

Prior to joining Acupuncture Northwest in the Seattle office, Emily practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine in many different environments. She shared clinic space with physical therapists, treated employees on-site at a fast pace technology company, and started her own practice from scratch in Spain. Moreover, in order to advance her skills, in her free time she was a student under several senior practitioners.

Emily Klein, L.Ac., is a licensed practitioner of East Asian Medicine in the states of Washington and California and is board certified by the NCCAOM in acupuncture. She received her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University, Santa Cruz, and her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from Central Washington University.

While she treats a range of conditions, Emily brings with her a lot of experience in sports medicine and pain management. She went through extensive training to become a sports medicine specialist at Five Branches University.

With her training in traditional Chinese medicine and Western science, Emily offers a holistic approach combining traditional techniques with modern research.  Utilizing Chinese herbalism, electro-acupuncture, cupping, and tui na massage, her treatment style is gentle and effective.
