Point Injection Therapy (PIT) or biopuncture is a technique in which acupuncture points are stimulated with an injection of a small amount of sterile, FDA approved natural substance, like vitamins, herbal extracts or homeopathic remedies. This technique helps to enhance and prolong the regular stimulation of the acupuncture points, in addition to the pharmacological effects and benefits of the nutrient injected.

Point Injection Therapy can be done alone or in conjunction with regular acupuncture. Symone Milev, EAMP in our Tacoma office is currently the only provider offering PIT. You can schedule acupuncture with her and request PIT or schedule PIT on its own.
