Chinese medicine has long recognized the link between diet and health, even with one’s reproductive potential. Here is an article that discusses the link between a diet high in trans fats and lower sperm concentration. Trans fats are found in processed foods (junk food), fast food, and fried foods, margarine, and lard and have many other negative health effects. In addition, another study found that a diet high in fish, vegetables, and whole grains increased sperm motility, when compared to a diet high in red meat.
